IT all CHANGED WHEN I FOUND LUMIX…

In the change to digital from analogue and studio to landscape I felt that lighter weight equipment would be easier to carry. As we were about to start on a two year project for the book “The Wilder Atlantic way” the switch to Lumix GH series MFT cameras came about.

The GH4’s were superb on the project and then came the book by my wife Penelope “The ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE Twelve fundamentals of integrated movement” published by Handspring in Edinburgh in 2001. The many photos for this plus videos accessed by Q codes were eased by the performance of the GH4’s trouble free performance.

This was followed by the start of Covid and Penelope’s decision to train Alexander teachers to work online. We are now a few hundred videos down the road and just joined by a GH5MkII which with our cine lenses is awesome.

Panasonic really have nailed video from their experience in cinema cameras, and the current models cross from stills to video effortlessly.

This recent upgrade to the Lumix GH5 Mk!! has given more advanced features to work with so we will post more on this when we can.
